Was Ist Das? a special moment in time in a special place perfectly captured. Stripped of the hangovers and wooden benches, something special remains Favorite track: Everyone Yearns For The Boiling Black Sky.

about

The Agricultural Light & Magick series compiles various live appearances (& occasionally other ephemera) since Raising Holy Sparks was summoned in 2011. Lately I've been playing under my own name also, but there have only been a handful of appearances thus far.

Tor Ist Das, Unitarian Church, Todmorden, England (16/08/15)

A personal favourite. Some spoken word, a duo with Willie from Woven Skull, which is one of the most emotional performances I've ever been involved in & to balance that, a joyous gathering of friends to finish - Kek-W, Glen, Sophie, Ciara, Katie, Uli & Kemper Norton. Three harmoniums!
I have a bit of Yorkshire in my soul for sure... Thanks to Sophie, Jake & Ned, The Beiderbecke Tapes & Last Of The Summer Wine.

'An eerie loveliness that should really be soundtracking a Werner Herzog film; indeed Popol Vuh’s work provides a useful reference point as, similar to Vuh, the music herein is almost religious in its solemnity and grace.' The Active Listener
